Last night we slept in Curtis and Jessica's house as we didn't have the energy or motivation to make up the bed in the RV.
We awoke to a wet and rainy day, but the forecast was for this to clear later. For breakfast I try all of the different cereals in the cupboard, with Rachel as my breakfast guide. Most were very sweet. The Cheerios were my favourite, but the fruit loops ran them a close second
Robin in the rainAfter breakfast we went to load up the RV with bedding and kitchen equipmentWith the tip-outs extended there is loads of spaceCurtis tells me about the Canadian winter, when he drives out onto the lake, puts up a shelter, and fishes through a hole in the ice. The shelter has a heater and it gets quite toasty. Sounds funCurtis's sister Lindsay and her daughter Camella are visiting today. Here they are in the hot tub with RachelThe rain doesn't lift, but I go for a swim anyway, if I'm going to get wet I might as well get properly wet. We spend a couple of hours in the hot tub, coming out when we are sufficiently prune like. Vera and Lindsay have a lot of catching up to do.Mike has been out to buy steak, cooked on the BBQ by Curtis, and they are just perfectGreat evening
